Molex releases Micro-Lock Plus wire-to-board connector system

     For customers in automotive, industrial and consumer applications, Molex has released a new Micro-Lock Plus wire-to-board connector system that delivers reliable electrical and mechanical performance in a compact, high-temperature design. Customers who require compact wire-to-board connectors with high current ratings of 3.0 amPs will benefit from this new system.

     The connector system is available in two sizes, 2.00 mm pitch and 1.25 mm pitch. The 2.00mm pitch version offers 2 to 16 circuits in a single row, available in both vertical and horizontal configurations; Connectors with latches make an audible clicking sound when locked; External locks provide additional strength; SMT terminals prevent fuzz problems; Metal splices reduce strain on joints; Double contacts are also provided in the extended terminal and rod areas. The 1.25mm pitch version comes in a variety of colors; Up to 42 circuits available in single and double rows; An internal lock is provided for dual connections and an external lock for single connections.
