Molex's EdgeLock signal connectors provide a secure fit with PCB edge cards for a variety of applications

     Molex Inc's EdgeLock wireline to side card Signal connector provides space saving and positive locking for a secure fit of PCB side cards. Usually, the head is welded to the PCB, which increases space and assembly steps. If rework is required, additional steps are involved. EdgeLock is a solution that works directly with PCB cards. At the same time, latches can be used to easily release components from the PCB.

     The demand for positive locking is growing, improving PCB retention. Active locking system provides powerful PCB-to-connector retention.
