Multispectral sensors match the perception of the human eye

     Ams AS7343L 13-channel multispectral sensor. This compact sensor combines multi-channel color analysis with XYZ sensor technology to match the human eye's perception of color and light intensity. When combined with colorimeters, portable spectrometers and consumer devices, the sensor provides users with additional productivity, flexibility and functions for lighting control, color matching and spectral analysis.

     The equipment is optimized for transmission, reflection and emission measurements, combining transverse flow test applications, color matching, fluid or reagent analysis, and spectral identification in the visible range. Multi-purpose sensors are ideal for color analysis applications that require regular and accurate measurements.

     In the field of agriculture, operators of greenhouses and indoor farms use color analysis to optimize spectral characteristics of horticultural lighting and maximize yield and energy efficiency. Different parts of the visible light spectrum stimulate the growth of different crops. Another application of this equipment is to detect spectral smoke characteristics in smoke alarm and heat alarm.

     The spectral analysis of the sensor can provide a smoke sensor to distinguish different types of smoke, from burning wood to plastic or water vapor. The device is installed in a 3.1mm x 2mm x 1mm flat package, which is very suitable for applications with limited space. The device combines programmable digital GPIO and LED driver to facilitate light source and trigger/synchronous control. Via serial I ² C interface realizes equipment control and spectral data access.
