The Murata 1YM type WLAN+ Bluetooth combination module supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2x2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.2BR /EDR/LE, with PHY data rates up to 866Mbps for Wi-Fi and up to 3Mbps for Bluetooth. The WLAN part supports PCIe v3.0 interface, and optionally supports SDIO v3.0 and USB 3.0 interface.
The Murata 1YM type WLAN+ Bluetooth combination module supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2x2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.2BR /EDR/LE, with PHY data rates up to 866Mbps for Wi-Fi and up to 3Mbps for Bluetooth. The WLAN part supports PCIe v3.0 interface, and optionally supports SDIO v3.0 and USB 3.0 interface. The Bluetooth part supports high-speed four-wire UART interface (optional support for USB/SDIO) and PCM for audio data.
The small, high-performance 1YM module is based on the NXP 88W8997 combination chipset and utilizes enhanced co-existing hardware mechanisms and algorithms to ensure WLAN and Bluetooth collaboration is optimized for maximum performance. In IEEE 802.11ac mode, WLAN operation supports MCS0 to MSC9 rates (up to 256 QAM) in 20MHz, 40MHz, and 80MHz channels, with data rates up to 866Mbps.
The Murata 1YM WLAN+ Bluetooth combination module is available in 11.8mm x 8.4mm x 1.3mm package. Due to its small size, it is ideal for size - and power-sensitive applications such as smart homes, gateways, iot, and more.
