Murata introduces Murata ATSC high temperature silicon capacitors for automotive applications

     Murata ATSC Automotive high temperature silicon capacitors are targeted at under-hood electronic devices and sensors in harsh conditions in the automotive market sector. Deep grooved MOS capacitors, combined with a unique Mosaic structure and distributed grooved capacitors, achieve excellent electrical performance.

     Murata ATSC Automotive high temperature silicon capacitors are targeted at under-hood electronic devices and sensors in harsh conditions in the automotive market sector. Deep grooved MOS capacitors, combined with a unique Mosaic structure and distributed grooved capacitors, achieve excellent electrical performance. During the production process, the capacitor is cured at +900°C to produce a high purity oxide, plus the device complies with the AEC-Q100 standard and achieves a long service life at temperatures up to 200°C.

     Sicap technology has high reliability (up to 10 times that of alternative capacitor technology), high stability and thin form factor. ATSC capacitors have enhanced decoupling performance compared to standard SMD solutions and are fully compatible with system-level packaged components and lead frames.
