NXP QN9090DK development kit with built-in Bluetooth 5 SoC

     QN9090DK development kit from NXP Semiconductors. The QN9090DK kit includes a carrier board with NFC tags and multiple expansion options, a QN9090 module and expansion board to help design engineers evaluate the QN9090T Bluetooth Low Energy System-on-Chip (SoC).

     The NXP QN9090DK development kit consists of a carrier board, an M10 module, and an expansion board. The carrier board has NFC tags and antennas, GPIO connectors, external flash interfaces, leds, and Arduino connectors to connect the expansion board. The expansion board contains switches, leds, potentiometers and other features accessible to the user. The M10 module contains the QN9090T variant of the QN9090 and QN9030 SOCs.

     The QN9090 and QN9030 SoCs are powered by Arm® Cortex®-M4 processors operating at 48 MHz. Both devices feature up to 640 KB of on-board flash memory and 152 KB of SRAM, providing storage space and flexibility for complex applications and secure over-the-air (OTA) updates. The QN9090 and QN9030 SoCs help developers speed development and reduce time to market to create feature-rich products for a variety of Internet of Things (IoT) applications such as personal healthcare devices, sports and fitness trackers, connected devices, building and home automation, toy and game peripherals, and beacons and mesh networking.

     The QN9090DK development kit features an integrated programmer and debugger, as well as a series of sample applications that showcase standard GATT profiles in a full Software Development Kit (SDK). The MCUXpresso SDK for QN is compatible with the latest toolchains in IAR and NXP's MCUXpresso Integrated development Environment (IDE). The complete suite of MCUXpresso software and tools provides a seamless software experience for a wide range of NXP devices and enables rapid addition of Bluetooth Low energy capabilities to existing designs on other NXP devices.
