NXP Semiconductors N-AFE 8-channel analog front-end IC

     The NAFE11388 is a highly configurable industrial-grade multi-channel general-purpose input analog front end (AFE) designed to meet high precision measurement requirements. The device integrates a low-leakage, high-voltage (HV) fast multiplexer, a low bias and low drift programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and buffer, a high data rate 24-bit Delta-Sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and a low drift reference voltage.

     All HV analog pins have diode protection inside for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and misalignment scenarios. NAFE11388 is equipped with a variety of diagnostic and monitoring circuits for condition monitoring and anomaly detection. Two accurately calibrated voltage sources facilitate end-to-end system self-calibration and predictive maintenance.

     The NAFE11388 family of products is designed for programmable logic controllers (PLCS), I/O modules, data loggers, instrumentation, high-precision sensors and data acquisition systems.
