NXP Semiconductors PTN3222 Single-port eUSB2 to USB2 conversion driver

     PTN3222 is a 1-port eUSB2 to USB2 redriver IC used to perform conversion between eUSB2 and USB2 signaling schemes. It is suitable for systems with eUSB2 interface on one side and USB2 interface on the other. Supports host repeater, device repeater, and dual role repeater functions. PTN3222 implements repeater mode (eUSB2 to USB2 redriver) and supports link power management.

     The PTN3222 is aimed at USB2-compatible and EUSB2-compatible. It supports all three speeds/data rates: low speed (1.5 Mbps), full speed (12 Mbps) and high speed (480 Mbps). PTN3222 provides a target I2C register interface that initializes the required functions and features based on the needs of the platform application. The I2C destination address can be selected using a four-element input pin (select one of the four addresses).

     The RST_N pin is used to reset the IC without power cycling. It is powered by two power supplies (VDD3V3, VDD1V8) and offers a small, thin WLCSP12 package (1.55mm x 1.18mm x 0.455mm body, 0.35 mm pitch) and QFN12 package (1.75 mm x 2.2 mm, 0.4 mm pitch).
