NXP Semiconductors TEA2093TS GreenChip synchronous Rectifier controller

     TEA2093TS GreenChip synchronous rectifier is a special controller IC that can perform synchronous rectification on the secondary side of asymmetric backflow and standard backflow converters. The TEA2093TS uses an adaptive gate drive to achieve maximum efficiency under any load. The TEA2093TS controller IC integrates a sensing stage and a driver stage to drive an SR MOSFET that rectifies the output of the secondary transformer windings.

     The NXP TEA2093TS controller can generate its own supply voltage for low-output battery charging applications or high-edge rectification applications. TEA2093TS is made using the silicon insulation (SOI) process.

     The TEA2093TS is designed for backflow power supply. In these applications, it can drive an external synchronous rectifier, a MOSFET, in place of a diode, used to rectify the voltage across the secondary windings of a transformer.
