NXP Semiconductors selects Amazon Cloud Technologies to usher in a new era of semiconductor innovation

     Amazon Cloud Technologies announced a further deepening of its cooperation with NXP Semiconductors, a world-renowned semiconductor company. NXP Semiconductors will move the majority of its electronic design automation (EDA) workloads to Amazon Cloud Technologies. Based on the cooperation between the two companies over the past three years, NXP Semiconductor will take full advantage of Amazon Cloud Technology's high-performance, highly scalable and secure cloud services to provide advanced semiconductor design solutions for the automotive, Internet of Things, mobile and communications sectors.

     NXP Semiconductor recently successfully completed the full deployment of end-to-end semiconductor chip design on Amazon Cloud Technology. To accelerate this migration and ensure efficient management of Cloud workloads, NXP Semiconductors has established a Center of Cloud Excellence (CCoE). The center is dedicated to providing training for employees while promoting standardized processes for application development.

Leveraging Amazon Cloud Technologies' advanced global infrastructure capabilities in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning services, NXP Semiconductor recently successfully executed a comprehensive System on a Chip (SoC) design for its leading vehicle integrated processor. The design process covers every link from simulation test to final design, ensuring the high efficiency and reliability of the processor.
