NXP Semiconductor announced the launch of i MX RT industrial driven development platform, which is a comprehensive modular solution and integrates multiple important technologies to promote the realization of a new era of secure industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Platform to i MX RT1170 cross-border MCU series and EdgeLock Based on SE05x security chip, it supports multi axis motor control, deterministic communication between Ethernet and Time Sensitive Network (TSN), human-machine interface (HMI), and next-generation security and network elasticity, thus simplifying the development of industry 4.0 applications, such as robot arms, mobile service machines, 3D printers, multi axis machines, AC motor drives, and servo drives.
Industrial systems increasingly rely on secure, intelligent connected devices to drive automation in factories, buildings and infrastructure. Industry 4.0 equipment requires increasingly complex security, deterministic real-time communication and autonomous control technologies. With i MX RT industrial driven development platform, system designers can use a single platform to more quickly develop and test various complex industrial use cases using the "design to ensure security" method, thus speeding up the listing process.

i. MX RT industrial driven development platform adopts dual core i MX RT1170 series is the foundation of construction, i MX RT1170 series MCU integrates 1GHz Arm Cortex-M7 core and Cortex-M4 core. The platform is built using the method of "design ensures security", and uses the embedded EdgeLock SE05x security chip that has passed the general standard EAL 6+certification, which helps simplify the certification work related to system level ISA/IEC 62443-4-1, - 4-2 security compliance.
