New 150W and 300W half brick DC/DC converters

     RECOM has added two new products in industry-standard half-brick packaging to its wide range of cost-effective DC/DC converters. The REC300H-W series has a rated power output of 300W with a wide input range of 9V to 36VDC, providing outputs of 12V, 15V, 24V and 48VDC with isolated voltages of 3kVDC/ min. The REC150H-UW series has an output of 150W with an ultra-wide input range of 9V to 75VDC with the same output voltage options, plus additional 28V and 54VDC for avionics systems and PoE powered applications with an isolation voltage of 2.5kVDC/ min.

     The REC300H-W and REC150H-UW series feature highly stabilized voltages, as well as input undervoltage, short circuit, output overload and overvoltage protection. The output is adjustable by +/-10%, with remote sensing function while providing an enable input. These modules are fully hermetically sealed and operate efficiently at substrate temperatures up to 105°C over a load range to accommodate harsh operating environments. The EMC requirements of Class A and B can be met by installing an external filter.

     The half brick has a package size of 57.9x 61mm and a height of 12.7mm with substrate cooling. The REC300H-W and REC150H-UW series have standard through-hole pin connections, so they can directly replace other products on the market to reduce cost and improve performance.
