TT Electronics announced the launch of two new surface-mount device (SMD) power inductors: the HM66M series for high frequency power conversion systems and EMI filter applications, and the HM78M series for high density and high frequency DC/ direct current (DC/DC) converter applications.
The TT Electronics HM66M series power inductors are designed for the complex industrial and electronic communications markets. The HM66M is a shielded miniature SMD inductor with an integrated ferrite core to provide significant conductivity and temperature advantages. These inductors are characterized by low high-frequency losses and are ideal for GAN-based power supplies and inverters working with fast switching power semiconductors. The power inductors have been optimized in the frequency range of 700 kHz to 4MHz for systems requiring switching frequencies up to 4MHz and operating temperatures of 125°C. The HM66M series is available in three standard housing sizes: 60, 70 and 84.
The TT Electronics HM78M Series power inductors are a shielded, ferrite based SMD inductor designed for high frequency DC/ direct current (DC/DC) converter configuration applications common in industrial markets. With their high inductance and high current values, these power inductors offer a switching frequency configuration range from 100 kHz to 3 MHz, making them suitable for use as buck converters or EMI filters. TT Electronics' HM78M series is available in two standard package sizes: 10 and 20.
