New Wireless SoCs Launched: nRF54L15, nRF54L10, and nRF54L05

Nordic Semiconductor, a global leader in low-power wireless connectivity solutions, today launched the nRF54L series of wireless SoC products, including the previously announced nRF54L15™, and the new nRF54L10™ and nRF54L05™ models. This cutting-edge series sets a new industry standard with enhanced efficiency, exceptional processing power, and diverse design options, meeting the growing demands of low-power Bluetooth and IoT applications.
The nRF54L series integrates 2.4 GHz radio and MCU functions (CPU, memory, and peripherals) into a single ultra-low-power chip, catering to a wide range of applications, from simple mass-market products to demanding advanced designs. Key applications include wearables, smart bands, game controllers, HID devices, medical devices, smart homes, and industrial IoT products. The nRF54L15 is perfect for demanding applications, while the nRF54L10 and nRF54L05 target high-volume applications like smart tags, electronic shelf labels, asset trackers, and other cost-sensitive IoT devices.
The nRF54L series is equipped with a 128 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 processor and ultra-low-power 2.4 GHz radio, designed to support advanced software applications and wireless protocol stacks, reducing the need for external MCUs or additional memory.
The nRF54L15 offers the largest memory capacity with 1.5 MB NVM and 256 KB RAM, while the nRF54L10 features 1.0 MB NVM and 192 KB RAM, and the nRF54L05 is optimized for cost-sensitive applications with 0.5 MB NVM and 96 KB RAM. The series supports Bluetooth 6.0, Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, Matter, Zigbee, Amazon Sidewalk, and proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols, offering data rates up to 4 Mbps.
The nRF54L series also introduces enhanced security features, including TrustZone isolation, tamper sensors, and hardened encryption accelerators. Nordic Semiconductor is now accepting orders for the nRF54L15 DK development kit, with full production of the nRF54L15, nRF54L10, and nRF54L05 expected by the end of this year.
