Nexperia introduces the industry's smallest certified automotive logic component

     Nexperia announced that the company's pin-free MicroPak package not only saves space, but more than 20 logic types are now AEC-Q100 certified. These logic solutions are the smallest of their kind for automotive applications, and Nexperia's Q100 portfolio exceeds the requirements of the Automotive Electronics Council.

     Nexperia's MicroPak package has the same Die size as the larger PicoGate product, ensuring the same electrical performance as the pin-equivalent product. MicroPak packages save up to 64% PCB space compared to pin-equivalent products due to their higher pad size to package footprint ratio, while providing a more reliable connection between the device and the board.

     Nexperia's complete MicroPak range is extensive and includes gates, analog switches, buffers/inverters/drivers, bus switches, converters, triggers, decoders/multiplexers, multiplexers, latches, level converters and Schmidt triggers.

     Nexperia's automotive portfolio offers 20 XSON6 (SOT886 and SOT1202) and XSON8 (SOT833-1 and SOT1203) package solutions - from gate to converter, Low power single and dual functions using AUP (0.8V to 3.6V), AVC (1.2V to 3.6V) and LVC (1.65V to 5.5V) technologies. In addition, Nexperia will be able to release additional MicroPak devices for automotive applications based on market demand.
