Next-generation intelligent solutions for a wide range of intelligent voice applications

     XMOS, a specialist in artificial intelligence processing chips, announced the launch of Xcore-Voice, a complete voice solution based on the hardware, software and tools of the xcore platform. The solution uses XMOS's industry-proven audio front-end processing, combined with far-field pickup and third-party ISV speech algorithm support, to provide a complete reference solution for far-field pickup and speech pre-processing.

     This multifunctional platform simplifies voice preprocessing, frees up more on-chip computing resources, and allows product designers to deliver voice interfaces quickly and cost-effectively while achieving optimal audio quality. The Xcore-Voice solution has a built-in one-stop example design. The xcore platform software gives full play to the processor functions and provides standardized modules for various applications.

     Crucially, the xcore-voice platform minimizes the need for the cloud by providing an interface that enables native command recognition, which not only leads to a better user experience through reduced latency and enhanced user privacy, but also further reduces cost and power requirements in product design. This promises to usher in a new era of voice-based user experience for the next generation of "smart" gadgets.

     Thanks to xcore-voice's inherent performance and flexibility, the platform can be deployed in a wide variety of home electronics, including: appliances, smart TVS and speakers, smart lighting and power switches, fitness equipment, consumer toys, and smart home gateways.
