Nordic Semiconductor nRF7002-DK 802.11 Wi-Fi Development Kit

     Nordic Semiconductor NRF7002-DK 802.11 Wi-Fi Development Kit used to demonstrate the nRF7002 Wi-Fi 6 companion IC contains everything you need to start development on a single circuit board. Nrf7002-dk uses nRF5340 multi-protocol system-on-chip (SoC) as the host device of nRF7002. The suite supports the development of low-power Wi-Fi 6 applications that use Wi-Fi 6 features such as OFDMA, beamforming, and target wake up time.

     The nRF7002 Wi-Fi 6 companion IC adds low-power Wi-Fi 6 capability to another host with seamless connectivity and Wi-Fi-based localization (SSID sniffing the local Wi-Fi hub) capability. The IC is designed for use with Nordic's existing nRF52 and nRF53 series multi-protocol System on Chip (SoC) and nRF91 series cellular iot system level packages (SiP). nRF7002 IC can also be used with non-Nordic host devices.

     SPI or QSPI can be used to communicate with the host, and additional coexistence capabilities enable seamless coexistence with other protocols such as Bluetooth  Low Power, Thread, or Zigbee. nRF7002 provides integration and support in Nordic's nRF Connect SDK.
