Nuvoton's NuMicro M0A23 series 32-bit microcontroller has an Arm Cortex-M0 core and is packaged in a compact package. It has highly flexible digital pin function distribution, rich analog peripherals, - 40 ° C to+125 ° C operating temperature range, 2.4 V to 5.5 V operating voltage, CAN 2.0B and LIN interfaces to achieve robust communication.

     Nuvoton's NuMicro M0A23 series 32-bit microcontrollers feature an Arm Cortex-M0 kernel in a compact package. It features highly flexible digital pin function allocation, abundant analog peripherals, operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, operating voltage from 2.4V to 5.5V, CAN 2.0B and LIN interface for robust communication. The NuMicro M0A23 series is targeted at high operating temperature applications such as 24 GHz millimeter-wave radar, battery management systems (BMS), automotive lighting, electric window lifters and electric seats.

 

     The NuMicro M0A23 series is packaged in SSOP20 and TSSOP28 with analog and digital capabilities suitable for small scale applications. The SSOP20 provides up to 18 IO pins, while the TSSOP28 provides up to 26 IO pins. Each IO pin in the M0A23 series can be assigned to digital peripherals, such as UART, SPI and PWM. Packaged in SSOP20 and TSSOP28, the M0A23 series offers rich analog capabilities including a 17-channel 12-bit 500 kSPS ADC, a set of 5-bit Dacs, and two sets of analog comparators (ACmps). Low voltage reset (LVR) and undervoltage detector (BOD) are provided to ensure system safety.

 

     The NuMicro M0A23 series operates at up to 48 MHz and supports a hardware divider. It has 32 KB flash memory, 4 KB SRAM, and 2 KB LDROM for system programming (ISP) functionality for easy firmware updates. It comes with peripherals including up to four 32-bit timers, a 6-channel 16-bit PWM generator, a CAN 2.0B controller, two sets of LIN function, five channels of PDMA, two sets of UART single-wire mode, IrDA and RS485 function. The M0A23 series provides two sets of universal serial control interfaces (USCI), which can be configured as UART, SPI or I²C.
