Onsemi NCN5140BSCGEVB and NCN5140TSCGEVB evaluation board

     The onsemi NCN5140BSCGEVB and NCN5140TSCGEVB evaluation boards are the demonstration and development platforms for the NCN5140S KNX System-level Package (SiP). The NCN5140S integrates the KNX transceiver and Arm® Cortex®-M0+ microcontroller along with the necessary passive components in one device.

     The rest of the components have high integration and low height, so it can be designed for ultra-thin KNX switch applications. Combined with a certified KNX stack and pre-certified software for up to eight configurable rocker arms or touch switch buttons, the NCN5140S enables KNX switch applications to be developed in a very short time. Pre-certified application software includes drivers and dimmers for up to 8 RGB leds to illuminate buttons or touchpads.

     Both the onsemi NCN5140BSCGEVB and NCN5140TSCGEVB evaluation boards include pre-installed NCN5140S in a 10mm x 8mm SIP50 package. The NCN5140BSCGEVB has 8 tactile buttons and the NCN5140TSCGEVB has 8 capacitive touch buttons. Both evaluation boards feature eight RGB leds, one for each button. Installation personnel can pass ETS easily configures the color and brightness of each LED. Each LED can be assigned color or brightness depending on the function and status of the relevant button.
