     Osram Opto-Electronics Semiconductors introduces a new compact, high-performance white OSLON SSL LED. The package size of this LED is only 3×3 mm, but the luminous efficiency is excellent, usually up to 100 lm/W. Thanks to its excellent luminous efficiency at high current, simplified heat dissipation management, high reliability and 80° beam Angle, this LED is the basis for high application efficiency. In addition, it is the ideal source for spotlights, table lamps and ceiling floodlights.

     The new OSLON SSL LED is a class 1 W LED that meets the needs of common applications. This LED is very small in size, stable and reliable in performance, and can maintain excellent luminous efficiency even under high current conditions. In addition, due to its 80° beam Angle, it is ideal for projecting light onto the external lens. This LED has low thermal resistance, only 7K /W, making heat management easier; Its small size gives designers more flexibility to create sophisticated solutions.

     If a particularly strong light is needed, several light sources can be combined and used together. In addition to ultra-white, which has a color temperature between 5700 K and 6500 K, medium white and warm white will also be launched this summer, with a color temperature range between 2700 K and 4500 K. OSLON SSL leds are built with the latest chip technology to ensure extremely high luminous efficiency.

     At present, when the operating current is 350 mA, the typical brightness of the ultra-white light source (color temperature of 5700 K and 6500 K) can reach 110 lm, and the luminous flux can reach a maximum of 130 lm. When the working current is 350 mA and the color temperature is 3000 K, the typical luminous efficiency can reach 75 lm/W and the brightness can reach 85 lm. When the operating current is 700 mA(warm white light), its brightness can be as high as 155 lm.

     In short, the advantage of this LED is that only a small amount of leds can achieve a high level of performance. The new OSLON SSL LED replaces the halogen lamps used in spotlights, table lamps and reading lamps, and can also be used in LED bulb applications.
