Osram introduces the latest Osconiq P3030 high power LED

     Osram announced that its latest Osconiq P 3030 high power LED will be available. The product comes in a new OSram package and is available in a variety of colors, which not only offers extremely long life, but also superior brightness and energy efficiency. The Osconiq P 3030 high power LED is especially suitable for products such as flashlights and work lights to provide strong lighting at night and ensure people's safety.

     Drawing on OSram Opto-Semiconductors' years of experience in the automotive sector, the developers combined mount technology with high-performance chips to create the Osconiq P3030 high-power LED, successfully expanding its lineup of high-power general-purpose LED products. Compared to ceramic packages commonly used in this sector, OSram's new package can extend component life to more than 70,000 hours and provide superior performance. The specially developed SMD (Surface Mounted Device) package uses silicone lenses for superior brightness and energy efficiency. Compared to ceramic packages for similar applications, it is also more cost-effective per unit lumens/dollar.

     Boo Hian Voon, General lighting product Manager at OSram Opto Semiconductors, said: "Thanks to the contact pad design, we can easily replace the previous ceramic packaging components with products in the new package, improving product performance while minimizing replacement costs that may be associated with replacement."

     The CCT family in which the OSram Osconiq P 3030 comes is available in both CRI 70 and CRI 80 versions for a wide range of applications such as indoor and outdoor professional lighting. CRI 70 has a color temperature between 2700K and 6500K, while CRI 80 has a color temperature between 2200K and 5000K. Both versions are compact 3 x 3 mm in size and 1.63 mm in height, allowing for more space savings in lighting design.

     In addition, the 1mm² chip in the CRI 70 will reach a brightness of 160 lm at 5000K, and its energy efficiency is a staggering 161 lm/W. The CRI 80 performs equally well, achieving a brightness of 135 lm at 3000K and an energy efficiency of 136 lm/W. Both components can operate at currents up to 1.3A, and their low thermal resistance also helps simplify the design of lighting systems.

     In addition, these two white leds are available in dark blue (450 nm), blue (470 nm), pure green (528 nm), red (623 nm), dark red (660 nm) and dark red (730 nm) for professional plant lighting and outdoor lighting.
