     Panasonic extends its TPE line of POSCAP conductive polymer tantalum solid capacitors. The POSCAP TPE series offers more than 100 unique part numbers and is ideal for a variety of applications.

     POSCAP capacitors use sintered tantalum as the anode system and a highly conductive polymer made from Panasonic's unique method as the cathode system. This allows POSCAP capacitors to be thin and small, while having low ESR (equivalent series resistance), high ripple current rating, and excellent high frequency characteristics. These characteristics make POSCAP resistors one of the best candidates for digital/high-frequency applications.

     The POSCAP TPE series is available in D and B case sizes, with ESR as low as 7 mΩ and ripple current rating up to 4.4 ARMS. With high reliability and proven performance, the TPE series is ideal for servers, base stations and industrial applications.
