Phoenix Contact TCP thermal component circuit breaker

     Phoenix Contact TCP thermal element circuit breakers provide optimal overload protection for distribution systems. The integrated switch function ensures immediate restart when the circuit breaker trips. Unlike fuses, circuit breakers do not need to be replaced. The larger the overload, the faster the thermal element circuit breaker trip. Phoenix Contact TCP Thermal element Circuit breakers contain 16A and 20A plugs in a thin package designed to protect devices with higher nominal current.

     In combination with the terminal block base, this series of thermal-sensitive circuit breakers provides basic protection for applications up to 250VAC and 65VDC. TCP devices are ideal for replacing existing fuses with resealable models to minimize maintenance. The two-piece structure facilitates simple conversion. The Phoenix Contact series has two different operating characteristics: on/off and trip reset or trip only reset.
