Pickering Electronics, UK, has announced the availability of the 100 HC series of high-power SIL/SIP single-row in-line lingual spring relays with a current rating of 1A, switching power up to 40W and continuous load current up to 3A. The 100 HC series relays use the highest quality instrument-grade switches with sputtered ruthenium contacts for low level or "dry" switching applications.
Kevin Mallett, technical specialist at Pickering Electronics, explained the new product: "The 100 HC series has more than twice the coil resistance of other similar products. For higher level pulse current applications, continuous load current specifications above 3A are available."
The higher the coil resistance, the lower the heat generated. Therefore, the HC series tongue spring relay is lower than
10 μV's good thermal electromotive force EMF performance.
The 100 HC series high-power SIL/SIP tongue spring relay has an internal MU-METAL magnetic shielding function, which can avoid problems caused by magnetic interactions due to closely discharge. And provide three coil voltage selection of 5V, 12V or 24V and optional internal diode. You can also choose one or two switches in a single package.
The new high -power SIL/SIP single -column straight tongue spring relay is suitable for high -power applications. In many cases, it can replace water and silver wet spring relay.
