Pickering Electronics offers more than 100 reed relays

     Pickering Electronics has been known as a market leader for more than 50 years for producing high quality, highly reliable reed relays. Through this agreement, E-Alliance will be able to provide Pickering Electronics with more than 100 reed relays for semiconductor testing, ATE systems, test and measurement equipment, instrumentation, electric vehicle testing and renewable energy applications.

     Pickering Electronics Series of high-performance innovative spring relays are designed to a high standard and have been rigorously tested to achieve longer life and better performance. The Pickering Electronics family of relays uses instrument grade spring switches and not only are all operating parameters 100% tested, but 100% thermal cycling is repeated three times from -20°C to +85°C to -20°C in order to pressure test the manufacturing process. At the same time, all switch contacts are completely sealed to prevent contact oxidation, which is not possible with traditional open relays. As a result, the Pickering Electronics family of relays provides greater stability and longer life, up to 5x10E9 times of operation.

     Pickering Electronics also manufactures the industry's smallest high voltage spring relays. Among them, 131 series provides at least 1500V voltage resistance; The 120 series occupies the smallest plate area in the industry, only 4mm × 4mm, the highest current 1A, the highest power 20W. These ultra-compact relays from Pickering Electronics allow designers to save up to 85% PCB space compared to normal industry standard size relays, allowing them to install more relays, which provides more switching options for those demanding test system designs.
