Pot-sealed 1/16 brick DC-DC converters for industrial/railway and telecommunications applications

     Flex Power Modules The newly launched PKU-S series of DC-DC power modules provide highly reliable, high-performance and rugged DC-DC solutions for industrial/rail, and telecommunications applications.

     The modules come in an industry-standard 1/16 brick form factor (35.3×25×10.4mm/1.39×0.984×0.41in) pot-sealed package to ensure reliable operation in dusty, wet, vibrational and other harsh environmental conditions.

     These modules are divided into two types: one is the PKU3500S series with input voltage range of 9V to 36V, and the other is the PKU5500S series with input voltage range of 18V to 75V. These converters can deliver up to 15A output current and 50W output power with an efficiency of up to 91%. The isolation voltage from input to output is 2250VDC.

     The modules are highly reliable, with an average time to failure (MTBF) of 8 million hours. These new modules meet the safety requirements of the latest IEC/EN/UL62368-1 standard.
