Power input modules add side flange mountable series

     SCHURTER's high-quality DD11 series power entry modules offer a high level of functional integration in the smallest housing. This power entry module is ideal for devices with smaller panels. The DD11 series includes IEC electrical input sockets (C14) for power cord fixing, 1- or 2-pole fuse holders, and power ON/OFF switches. In addition to the existing top and bottom flange mounts, we now add a side flange mountable product to the DD11 series. The new product minimizes height when installed vertically.

     The compact design of the DD11 series makes it ideal for use in equipment with limited space and high electrical and mechanical loads. This series of devices conforms to the IEC60601-2 standard and is especially suitable for medical applications. The drawer type fuse box (fusedrawer) is 1-pole or 2-pole and can accommodate 5x20mm fuses. The product provides a double fuse feature that prevents the user from removing the fuse box when the power cord is plugged into the device. The power cord retention feature prevents accidental removal. Other application areas for the products include IT and telecommunications, office and home equipment, and automation systems.

     The DD11 series is rated up to 10A at 250VAC according to IEC and UL/CSA standards and is ENEC and cURus certified. This range of compact products complements the options for flush mounting and PCB mounting. In addition, models equipped with electromagnetic compatibility filters are also available. According to IEC 60695-2-11 or -12 and -13, SCHURTER power entry modules with fuseholders meet the enhanced requirements of the glow-wire test.
