Precision, four control, SPDT, CMOS analog switch

     The MAX333A is a precision quadrupole single pole double throw (SPDT) analog switch. Four independent switches work with a bipolar power supply of ±4.5V to ±20V or a single-ended power supply of +10V to +30V. The MAX333A offers low resistance (less than 35Ω), ensures matching between 2Ω channels, and remains smooth (∆3Ω max) over the analog signal range. It also provides a pre-disconnect switch (typically 10ns) with a turn-off time of less than 145ns and a turn-on time of less than 175ns.

     The MAX333A is ideal for portable operation because static current runs less than 50µA and all inputs are high or low. This monolithic, four-switch is manufactured with Maxim's new improved silicon gate process. Design improvement, ultra-low charge injection (10pC), low power consumption (3.75mW), electrostatic discharge (ESD) greater than 2000V. The logic input is TTL and CMOS compatible and is guaranteed to be in the range +0.8V to +2.4V - regardless of the power supply voltage. Logic input and switching analog signals can vary anywhere between supply voltages without damage.
