Pulse Electronics PH9499xCL SMD high-frequency power inductor adopts Litz winding, which is specifically designed for quasi resonant converter. The inductance range of the PH9499xCL inductor is 0.95 µ H to 1.25 µ H. 3.5Arms is optimized for the frequency range of 800kHz to 1.2MHz. Litz wire limits the AC DC resistance ratio to 1.25 (at 1MHz), so the converter can maximize the advantage of low DC resistance of 22m Ω.
The PH9499xCNL is mainly designed for power modules that directly convert from 48V to silicon core voltage. By compact size (11.2 mm × 9.75mm × 7.6mm maximum) and 1.1mm turn off design feature, which can be installed under the inductor to achieve power density exceeding 240W/in3 module design
