QORVO 802.11AX 5GHZ FEM helps enterprises improve WI-FI performance

QORVO announced that its 5 GHz front-end module (FEM), the QPF4528, is helping to deliver the industry's fastest and most energy-efficient 802.11ax enterprise access point. Qorvo's FEM is used in conjunction with the Qualcomm IPQ8078 802.11ax chipset to power advanced WA6628 enterprise access points through New H3C, a leading digital solutions provider.

     QORVO announced that its 5 GHz front-end module (FEM), the QPF4528, is helping to deliver the industry's fastest and most energy-efficient 802.11ax enterprise access point. Qorvo's FEM is used in conjunction with the Qualcomm IPQ8078 802.11ax chipset to power advanced WA6628 enterprise access points through New H3C, a leading digital solutions provider.

 

     Qorvo's highly efficient QPF4528 FEM improves linear power transfer without increasing power consumption, making it possible to implement higher performance 802.11ax enterprise access points in smaller size designs. It is worth noting that the QPF4528 is optimized to solve the thermal challenges faced by Wi-Fi devices in multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) environments.

 

     The higher capacity of 802.11Ax technology (with 8x8 MU-MIMO) brings many benefits to enterprises, including fewer access points, higher capacity and efficiency, higher speeds, and lower operating costs. IHS Markit estimates that nearly 200 million 802.11ax-enabled devices will ship globally by 2021.

 

     H3c's WA6628 access point feeds data to 1,000 clients simultaneously over 12 streaming channels. Its slim and elegant form won the Red Dot Design Award 2018 - one of the world's top industrial design awards.
