QORVO introduces MMIC power amplifier to break power barrier

     Qorvo announced the launch of the MMIC power amplifier, which delivers more than 10 watts of saturated power in the 32-38 GHZ band. The most powerful MMIC products on the market deliver advanced reliability and efficiency, supporting customers to meet performance goals in critical defense applications while reducing costs.

     Based on Qorvo's ultra-reliable silicon-based gallium nitride (GaN-on-SiC) technology, the 10-watt TGA2222 offers a large signal gain of 16dB, a small signal gain of 25dB, and an industry-leading power added efficiency of more than 22 percent. It delivers this extended RF power in a smaller chip, reducing the size, weight and number of components to provide a simple but powerful solution for defense applications.
