Qorvo brings superior performance to 1.8 GHz DOCSIS 4.0 cable applications

Qorvo, a leading global provider of connectivity and power solutions, has announced the addition to Qorvo's 1.8 GHz DOCSIS 4.0 portfolio. Operating from 45 MHz to 1.794GHz, Qorvo's QPA3314 hybrid power multiplier amplifier module combines excellent linearity and return loss performance with low noise and high reliability.

The QPA3314 provides a gain of 23dB, a maximum operating current of 530 mA, and a DC voltage of 24 V, providing lower DC power and higher RF power than other cable equipment solutions on the market. With an extra pin in the module package, the QPA3314 regulates DC current externally, achieving a good balance of power consumption and distortion across a variety of output levels.
