Qorvo has been selected as a key supplier for Mediatek's Dimensity 9400 debut Wi-Fi 7 FEM

     Recently, Qorvo announced that MediaTek has selected Qorvo as the key supplier for the first Wi-Fi 7 front-end module (FEM) on the Mediatek MT6653 Wi-Fi 7/Bluetooth single chip. Qorvo's Wi-Fi 7 FEM and MediaTek MT6653, used in the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 platform, have been optimised to help enhance the performance, energy efficiency and technical characteristics of Wi-Fi 7 in mobile devices, providing a best-in-class end-user experience.

Qorvo's Wi-Fi 7 FEM for mobile applications offers great flexibility in terms of power management and efficiency, which is essential to meet the performance requirements of 5G smartphones.

     These solutions are equipped with additional transmission modes to increase efficiency and throughput across the entire operating power range. Qorvo FEM supports linear and nonlinear architectures, as well as a wide range of high and low power products. Its support covers the entire Wi-Fi 7 spectrum to meet the needs of a wide range of applications, including smartphones, client devices (Cpes), enterprise and industrial computing.

     Qorvo also offers Wi-Fi iFEM with an integrated BAW filter that ensures ideal performance and reduces board space requirements while increasing efficiency and throughput. Qorvo Wi-Fi 7 FEM, which supports the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 platform, will ship in volume in Q4 2024.
