
Qorvo, a leading provider of RF solutions for mobile, infrastructure and aerospace and defense applications, has introduced the Qorvo QPG7015M, a ground-breaking iot transceiver that enables all low-power, open-source standard smart home technologies to operate simultaneously. This transceiver, combined with Qorvo's patented antenna diversity and unique receiver design, delivers excellent performance in terms of coverage, interference stability and power consumption, helping to significantly simplify iot design.
Qorvo is an established leader in providing multi-protocol capabilities with system-on-chip (SoC) controller products. The QPG7015M transceiver is primarily targeted at gateway iot solutions that require full adoption of Bluetooth Low Energy, ZigBee and Thread protocols, as well as +20dBm output. As the core of the home iot system, the gateway supports multiple applications, security protocols, and data through the central device on which it resides. For example, iot applications that support lighting, security, elder care, and home control are implemented through this gateway.

The QPG7015M transceiver uses the exclusive Qorvo coexBoost. Qorvo coexBoost capability. Delivers excellent RF performance for 5x coverage in high-duty Wi-Fi use cases such as streaming to multiple 4K video clients. It also uses a compact design that requires 2.5 times less space and 4 times fewer external components, thereby speeding up and simplifying the design of home iot devices, making them more appealing and future-ready. In addition, a flexible and scalable software development Kit (SDK) enables full control and use of host processor resources to accelerate time to market.
