Qorvo takes TP-Link Wi-Fi 6 router performance to a whole new level

     Qorvo, a leading provider of RF solutions for mobile, infrastructure and aerospace and defense applications, has announced four Wi-Fi 6 front-end modules (FEM) to support TP-Link's latest generation of retail routers, from entry-level to high-end gaming models. Qorvo products significantly improve wireless download/upload speeds, increase data capacity, enhance connectivity in crowded Spaces and extend the battery life of Internet of Things (IoT) client devices.

     The TP-Link Archer AX1500 series routers use Qorvo Wi-Fi 6 FEM and include medium-power QPF4206 and QPF4506 products, as well as high-power QPF4216 and QPF4516 products. Compared to comparable devices, the FEM improves energy efficiency by 40% and extends coverage by 20%.

     Each FEM integrates a 2.4GHz or 5GHz power amplifier (PA), voltage regulator, single-pole double-throw switch (SP2T) and bypass low noise amplifier (LNA) in a single device. Qorvo solutions dramatically reduce the bill of materials and time to market by integrating multiple components in a compact form factor.
