Qorvo technology helped the Perseverance rover land safely on Mars

Qorvo announced that the components provided by Qorvo have become an integral part of the Mars Fortitude 2020 mission and played a key role in the successful landing of the unmanned Fortitude rover on Mars. NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) officially confirmed that one of the Mars Fortitude's key systems - the landing radar - was integrated with Qorvo's products. The performance and reliability of the landing radar system determine whether the Perseverance rover can land safely on the surface of Mars.

     Qorvo, a leading provider of RF solutions for mobile, infrastructure and aerospace and defense applications, announced that Qorvo's components have become an integral part of the Mars Fortitude 2020 mission and played a key role in the successful landing of the unmanned Fortitude rover on Mars.      Qorvo has been playing an important role in space exploration, such as providing radar components for the Mars Curiosity rover landing system (launched in 2011). In addition to radar systems, Qorvo components have also been used in space communications systems, including enabling the New Horizons space probe (launched in 2006) to send images and data of Pluto back to Earth, and the Cassini Huygens space probe (launched in 1997) to map Saturn and its rings and moons.
