Qorvo unveils its new Wi-Fi 6E FEM, unleashing all the power of the 6GHz band

     Qorvo announced the launch of two Wi-Fi 6E front-end modules (FEM), the QPF4656 and QPF4632, designed to fully increase throughput and coverage for high-bandwidth applications such as 8K video streaming, online gaming and virtual reality.

     Wi-Fi 6E is an extended version of Wi-Fi 6, supporting the recently opened 6 GHz band in addition to the traditional 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Wi-Fi 6E has three times the capacity of regular Wi-Fi, supports continuous spectrum and can accommodate up to seven additional 160 MHz channels or 14 additional 80 MHz channels. Qorvo's Wi-Fi 6E FEM unleaps all the potential of this new band, delivering leading linearity performance at permitted indoor peak power levels, maximizing throughput and capacity.

     The QPF4656 and QPF4632 introduced today by Qorvo deliver reliable performance and best-in-class energy efficiency at high power levels supported by the extended bandwidth of Wi-Fi 6E, as well as high speeds and throughput. QPF4656 is suitable for consumer Wi-Fi 6E routers and gateways; The QPF4632 is suitable for enterprise-class Power over Ethernet (POE) Wi-Fi 6E products and applications.

     Qorvo Wi-Fi 6E FEM is packaged in a compact package that delivers 25% more power than current solutions, enabling consumer and enterprise wireless networking solutions to achieve cost, size and thermal performance benefits.
