Qualtek's QKRC-10-05 10 W 5 V freestanding outlet system does not require external power

     Qualtek's QKRC-10-05 freestanding socket system includes a power supply unit that converts AC input to 5 V 2 ADC output power. To install, simply  clip the socket into the panel or system and connect the supplied 24 inch lead to the 120 VAC input.

     QKRC-10-05's patent pending compact design allows systems with Qualtek convenience outlets to add active USB-C ports without changing the user's current panel cutouts, system design, or space limitations. Current market solutions require that a separate power supply be installed in the user's enclosure and wired from the AC input to the power supply, and then from the power supply to the USB Type-C socket. QKRC-10-05 provides a fast, efficient and space saving integrated solution without the need for additional power, screws and wiring, thus eliminating tool costs and additional installation time.

     The snap in design integrated into the socket body allows panel thicknesses of only 0.8 mm to 1.8 mm. This socket has a power capacity of up to 5 VDC 2 A and complies with UL specification ANSI/UL 62368-1 standard, document No. E335667
