QuickLogic introduces the ArcticLink 3 S2 LP, the new programmable Sensor hub with the lowest power consumption in the industry

QuickLogic, a company engaged in ultra-low power programmable Sensor hub innovation, announced the addition of the company's ultra-low power programmable Sensor hub -ArcticLink 3 S2 LP. The new platform operates with a power consumption of just 75 microwatts (68 microamps at 1.1V), making it the lowest power programmable sensor hub on the market

     QuickLogic, a company engaged in ultra-low power programmable Sensor hub innovation, announced the addition of the company's ultra-low power programmable Sensor hub -ArcticLink 3 S2 LP. The new platform operates with a power consumption of just 75 microwatts (68 microamps at 1.1V), making it the lowest power programmable sensor hub on the market. Together with QuickLogic's extensive library of SenseMe™ algorithms and reference designs, designers can add more features and functionality with the ArcticLink 3 S2 LP, and significantly extend the battery life of smartphones and wearables.

 

     Compared to the standard ArcticLink 3 S2 programmable sensor hub, the ArcticLink 3 S2 LP requires nearly 50% less power to be absorbed from the host system and consumes much less power than competing MCUsensor hub solutions. Thanks to extended battery life, smartphones and wearables last longer after a single charge, improving user experience. The device supports QuickLogic's extensive library of SenseMe sensor algorithms, as well as OEM-developed and third-party algorithms, allowing designers to add more features and capabilities to consumer devices.
