RAC15-K/480 and RAC25-K/480 of RECOM conform to OVC III and PD3 grade

     Based on the successful experience of RECOM 5W on-board RAC05-K/480 AC/DC, RECOM can now provide 15W and 25W versions with the same 85-528VAC ultra wide input range, which is suitable for line to line and line to neutral connection in single-phase and three-phase AC power supplies worldwide.

     The product provides 5V, 12V, 15V and 24V output, and has perfect short circuit, over-current and over-voltage protection functions. These two new series have passed IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 and IEC/EN 61010 certification and are classified as limited power supply (LPS). These modules can be used in the environment with overvoltage level III (OVC III) and pollution level 3 (PD3), and the working altitude can reach 5000m, so they are very suitable for harsh application environments, such as power supply for the management system of electric vehicle charging piles or factory automation equipment.

     The module has high efficiency, with a peak value of 87%, and can operate with full load in a wide operating temperature range from - 40 ° C to+70 ° C (RAC15-K/480 is 60 ° C). For RAC25-K/480 series, it can still output 15W at an ambient temperature of 90 ° C. These modules comply with the electromagnetic interference standard of EN 55032 Class B, with floating output, without external components, and also comply with the EMI immunity of EN 55035. No load power consumption is less than 0.3W, meeting the requirements of ecological design.

     The size of RAC15-K/480 is only 2 "x 1.6" x 1 ", and the size of RAC25-K/480 is 3.2" x 1.8 "x 1.2", all of which are silicon free packages meeting the industry standard size. Like their 5W brothers, these 15W and 25W modules are cost-effective and suitable for applications in various industries worldwide, including smart grid/metering, Internet of Things, renewable energy, sensor and actuator power, etc.
