RECOM Launches New Integrated Box DC/DC Power Supply for Mobile Vehicles

     RECOM announced the launch of a new integrated box DC/DC power supply for electric vehicles. With the promotion of zero emission transportation, the ideal solution for non passenger vehicles is battery driven. They need DC/DC power to generate isolated auxiliary power rails from the power battery. The newly launched cost-effective compact RMOD series is very suitable for this application. As the product has IP6x grade, it is completely sealed against moisture and dust, so it can be installed anywhere in the vehicle that is not protected

     The product can provide 300W, 360W, 400W, 500W and 600W rated power, and higher power can be obtained through parallel connection. Each model is suitable for different inputs, covering nominal 24V, 36V, 48V, 60V, 80V and 90V battery voltages, while some models have wide input ranges containing up to five nominal voltages. This series provides multiple single output: 12.2V, 13V, 13.7V, 24V and 24.5V. The certified isolation voltage can reach up to 2.25kVDC, and the operating temperature can reach up to 75 ° C to 90 ° C, depending on the model.

     The RMOD series is designed for plug and play, and is installed through standard connecting devices and chassis. Multiple protection functions ensure that the product is durable, including input polarity reverse connection protection, over temperature, output over-current/short circuit and output over-voltage protection.
