RECOM Launches Vehicle Scale LED Driver with "Wettable Wing Package"

     RECOM's cost-effective and efficient RPY-1.5Q series is an LED driver that meets the AEC-Q100 automotive standard. It uses a heat enhanced QFN package, with an integrated shielding inductor and an optional "wettable wing package". This function can perform automatic optical inspection (AOI) on the solder joints according to the requirements of automobile users, thus avoiding expensive and slow X-ray inspection

     Although the size of the product is only 3 x 5 x 1.6mm, the input voltage range is 4 to 36VDC, so it can provide high-precision programmable constant current up to 1.5A at 5, 12 or 24V nominal voltage. Support PWM or analog dimming, and provide enable input and fault signal output. The driver has complete input undervoltage, overheating, output short circuit and over-current protection functions. Junction temperature working range is - 40 ° C to+125 ° C.
