RECOM introduces RACM60-K Series 60W AC/DC power supply

    RECOM introduces the new RACM60-K series for open frame AC/DC power supplies. The thin 2 "x 3" design allows the converter to operate at full power from -40°C to +55°C without forced cooling, with operating temperatures up to +85°C during derating or forced cooling. The AC input voltage range is general 80-264V, and the output voltage is 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V, and 48V.

     These modules are widely used, with EN 62368-1, IEC 61558-1/-2-16 and IEC/EN 60335-1 certifications, and are suitable for ITE/ audiovisual, industrial and domestic applications up to 5000 m above sea level. Medical safety and EMC certification meets ANSI/AAMI/IEC/CSA 60601-1 2xMOPP requirements with an isolation voltage of 4kVAC/ min for Type B and BF applications operating up to 4000 m above sea level. Class I PELV or Class II with a grounded output also meet EMC Class B standards for installation.

     The RACM60-K series offers a full range of protection features, including short circuit protection, input overvoltage protection, overcurrent and temperature protection, as well as line and neutral fuse functions for medical applications. AC input voltage 230V spacetime load power consumption 100mW.

     Converters are available in a variety of mounting options: Molex connectors for wired mounting, wave soldering pins for PCB mounting (with built-in brackets), and 2 "x 4" packages compatible with conventional designs (protective housing available).
