RECOM introduces half-brick and one-eighth brick non-isolated DC/DC converters

     RECOM recently introduced two cost-effective non-isolated DC/DC converters, RPMGE-10 and RPMGH-40, in half brick and one-eighth size packages with rated output current of 10A and 40A, respectively. Both series have input voltages of 18-75VDC and apply a range of nominal input voltages. In addition, both series have 5V or 12VDC nominal output voltages that can be adjusted to 3.3-8VDC and 8-34VDC, respectively, Both series have 5V or 12VDC nominal output voltages that can be adjusted to 3.3-8VDC and 8-34VDC, respectively, for a wide range of applications.

     These products have advanced thermal design and efficiency of up to 95%. Most models can operate at full load at ambient temperatures over 100°C in the presence of airflow, and at nominal input and output voltages up to 120°C as derating. According to MILK-HDBK-217F, the product's cooling system enables a mean time between failures (MTBF) of more than 1.2 million hours for all models under normal operating conditions.

     The product offers on/off control, output fine-tuning and remote induction control inputs, as well as protection from undervoltage lock, overload, overheat and short circuit. The product is available in two package types, open frame and through hole mount, and the size and pin arrangement meet industry standards.
