RECOM introduces the RACPRO1-T series, a newly designed DIN rail power supply

     RECOM, in collaboration with its newly acquired power specialist LECO, has introduced a range of three-phase DIN rail power supplies with ground-breaking cost advantages. The RACPRO1 series includes products with power ratings of 240W, 480W and 960W, and its ultra-compact design leads the pack with widths of only 43mm, 52mm and 80mm respectively. The design team achieved superior electrical efficiency through advanced thermal management techniques, thus eliminating the need for cooling space on both sides of the product and maximizing the package density of the overall system.

     With an excellent efficiency of up to 97.1%, the product only needs convection cooling to work fully at +60°C and can operate at temperatures as low as -40°C, which is significantly lower than most similar products. Another advantage of the series is that all models provide an additional 20% power at +45°C and 50% power for five seconds, making them ideal for powering capacitive or high-surge loads without the need for a specific power supply.

     All products can operate with three-phase 320-575VAC or 430-850VDC inputs, while 240W products can also operate with two-phase 350-575VAC inputs. The RACPRO1-T240 has a 24VDC regulated output and offers an adjustable voltage of 24-28VDC, while the RACPRO1-T480 and RACPRO1-T960 are available in either 24V or 48V (48-56VDC) adjustable output voltage options.

     The product range is manufactured in Europe and designed for a longer service life. The high level of input surge and output return voltage immunity improves the reliability of the product and is ideal for use in industrial environments and motor or inductive loads. The product has lower no-load power consumption than other similar products and provides a DC-OK signal. In addition, the 480W and 960W products have CV/CC output features that support battery charging and parallel output. The product line complies with the DIN rail mechanical standard EN 60715 and uses a 25 degree tool-free press connection that allows the product to be inserted directly into the standard DIN rail without tools.

     Safety certifications for products include IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1 and IEC/EN/UL 61010-2-201, It also complies with EMC standards EN 61000-6-4 Class B and EN61000-6-2 radiation and immunity standards.these new AC/DC power supplies have a wide range of applications, including industrial, renewable energy, power distribution, test and measurement, infrastructure and more.
