RECOM's RMD500 Series 500 W DC/DC converters are designed to meet the specific requirements of transportation, especially rail vehicles. They feature a 4:1 input voltage range ranging from 43 VDC to 137.5 VDC (nominal values of 72 V and 110 V, respectively) with isolated and regulated 24 V outputs. The RMD500 series achieves these specifications with an enhanced isolation system.

RECOM's RMD500 series 500 W DC/DC converter is specially designed to meet the specific requirements of transportation (especially rail vehicles). They have a 4:1 input voltage range, covering 43 VDC to 137.5 VDC (nominal values of 72 V and 110 V respectively) input voltages, and isolated and regulated 24 V outputs. The RMD500 series achieves these specifications by enhancing the isolation system.

The RMD500 converter has a constant efficiency of 95% and can be used in parallel in an n+1 redundancy design. For OT4+ST1&ST2 categories, a wide operating temperature range of - 40 ° C to+70/85 ° C is allowed for the base plate assembly. This provides full power over the entire temperature range without derating or using additional fans.

This product is a compact plug and play device fully applicable to rail transit equipment, with complete features and functions, including input reverse polarity protection, surge current limitation, 10 ms hold time, remote control and output O-ring diode.

RMD500 series converter has EN62368-1 mark and passed the comprehensive test of the latest EN50155 track standard, covering all relevant standards. Target applications include traction and propulsion, drive system, electrical box and cabinet, braking and door system, train control monitoring system, HVAC, safety system, data recorder, lighting, WLAN system, radio communication, passenger information and other content display devices.
