Radiation resistant TCXO is suitable for high impact and vibration environment

     Euroquartz has published from Greenray Industries Inc. The range of radiation-resistant TCXOs provides outstanding performance in high impact and vibration environments. The new T1276 tcxo comes in a rugged, radiation-resistant stainless steel and nickel-plated package that offers frequencies from 2.5MHz to 120MHz over a wide temperature range from -55℃ to +125℃

     Ultra-low acceleration sensitivity below 0.07ppb/g makes these oscillators suitable for many applications, including high-orbit transponders, low-orbit nano/microsatellites, RF telemetry systems, multi-band terminals, and up-converters. The 24-pin DIP package size is 20.3mm x 12.7mm x 8.9mm and protects against total ionization doses up to 200krad (Si). Further specifications include SEL and SET free to 100MeV cm²/mg, choice of 3.3VDC and 5VDC power requirements and CMOS or sine wave output. Frequency stability ranges from ±0.3ppm over 0C to 50C to ±7ppm over the entire operating temperature range.

     The aging was ±1ppm in the first year and ±3ppm after ten years. Typical phase noise performance is -90 DBC /Hz at 10Hz and -160 DBC /Hz at 1MHz. The new series complements the existing T1254 line and is available with MIL-PRF-55310 B or S class screening.
