Recom's half brick packaged buck boost converter RBBA3000 can provide up to 3000W output power and 98% conversion efficiency. It uses substrate cooling and allows separate programming of the output voltage and maximum current.

The input voltage range of RBBA3000 non isolated DC/DC converter is 9 to 60 VDC, and the maximum output power is 3000W; Use a single resistor or external voltage regulation to program the output voltage in the range of 0 to 60VDC and the maximum current in the range of 0 to 50A respectively. Thanks to the buck boost topology, the output voltage can be set below or above the input voltage.

After proper cooling, the RBBA3000 can provide full power in the operating temperature range of - 40 to+85 ° C. The current sharing pin can monitor the load current and can also be used for paralleling two modules. In this way, the output current up to 100A can be obtained, and the active load balancing function can be achieved.

The buck boost converter is equipped with an external filter, which complies with the EMC standards EN55024 and EN55032 Class A and Class B. It is suitable for 48V to 24V or 12V to 24V battery power conversion, high-power laboratory DC power supply, electric vehicle voltage regulator, battery voltage regulator and other applications.
