Renesas Electronics Group Announces Three New Low Phase Noise, High Frequency RF Clocking Solutions for 4G and 5G RF, and Two New Successful Product Portfolios to Expand the Renesas Communications Clock Product Lineup to Meet Market Needs for the Full Signal Chain solution needs. The new 8V19N850 RF clock synchronizer and 8V19N880, 8V19N882 JESD204B/C clock jitter attenuators provide ITU-T compliant network clock synchronization, excellent low phase noise and high clock frequencies.

The 8V19N850 RF clock synchronizer is the industry's first 5G RF synchronization integrated solution. It has the complete function of RF synchronization on a single chip, and complies with ITU-T G.8273.2 T-BC/T-TSC Class C, ITU-T G. 8262.1 Enhanced SyncE and a full suite of JESD204B/C specifications. The 8V19N850 can also recover clocks from CPRI/eCPR according to IEEE 802.1cm fronthaul synchronization requirements, making it ideal for radio frequency units (O-RUs) for emerging 5G O-RAN networks.
The 8V19N880 and 8V19N882 JESD204B/C clock jitter attenuators provide low phase noise and low 74fs RMS and -90dB spurious attenuation for mission-critical industrial data converter applications such as wireless communications, test and measurement, instrumentation, and high-performance imaging. The new products support frequencies up to 3932.16MHz (up to 6GHz when using an external VCO) and feature 16 and 18 integrated differential outputs that provide a balance of high performance, low voltage and low power consumption at 1.8V operating voltage.
The new products have been added to two new successful Renesas product portfolios designed to meet the growing demand for higher bandwidth in cellular services. Small cell base station and MIMO base station solutions use compatible devices to reduce risk and speed time to market.
