Renesas Electronics Introduces Industry's First Compatible CK440Q Clock Generator to Meet PCIe Gen5 and Higher Standards

     Renesas Electronics Group, a global supplier of semiconductor solutions, announced the release of the low-jitter 9SQ440 clock generator IC designed for next-generation Intel platforms for high-performance computing and data center applications. As the latest addition to Renesas' extensive PCIe product line, the 9SQ440 is the industry's first CK440Q-compliant server clock generator. Developed to meet the requirements of the Intel CK440Q specification and future Intel Xeon processors, the 9SQ440 provides customers with a flexible, robust, high-performance synthesizer to meet PCIe Gen5 design challenges.

     Customers can use the 9SQ440 with Renesas' extensive range of PCIe clocking solutions (including PCIe Gen5 clock buffers), infrastructure power and Smart Power Stage (SPS) products for complete data center solutions.
